ABOUT BRACON
Although first registered as a company in 1952, it was not until 1974, when Mike Viney bought Bracon, that it's greater potential was realised.
As Managing Director of the company, Mike, a former dental technician in the Royal Air Force, successfully kept Bracon at the forefront of dental technology to become the well known and respected dental supply company it is today. We over the years have evolved into one of the largest dental laboratory supply companies in the country. We will ensure his legacy is continued. Originally based in Kent, Bracon is better known nationally for its operations from Etchingham, East Sussex. This elegant stone building houses the much expanded operations centre encompassing: stores; post and despatch; equipment and engineering; purchasing; tooth department; telesales; accounts; management and reception suite; a fully equipped laboratory and lecture facility. Due to our continuing expansion we opened a new 4000 sq ft bulk stores in 2005 to cope with the increase in demand for bulk goods.
Covering the whole of the U.K., Bracon has an experienced and dedicated team of sales representatives and, from the South East, provides a full delivery service to all its customers.
Increasingly, Bracon is evolving as one of the leaders in the field of laboratory design. Using computer aided design systems (CAD), the Bracon team has dedicated themselves to ensuring optimum utilisation of space in new laboratories, no matter how large or small they may be. Once the laboratory has been designed, Bracon supplies Dental Art, Rossi & Caws and our new Budget Benching range together with all required fittings, are installed by Bracon's own experienced team of engineers.
Manfredi, Mestra, Artex, Wasserman and Zeiser are just part of a large range of equipment which Bracon supplies. These are backed by a full service and repair facility which ensures high standards of maintenance and efficiency.
Whilst laboratory design and equipment are a large part of Bracon's business, its other vital function is that of a supplier of sundry items for day-to-day laboratory use. In this respect the company supplies goods from throughout the world, with many of these bearing Bracon's own label.
Bracon has always striven to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing world of dentistry and is constantly reviewing and improving its product range and service. In line with this policy is the ability to provide training courses on, and demonstrations of new products and techniques. Together with its suppliers, Bracon is able to bring innovation and new technology directly to its customers, all based at its comfortable seminar and conference facility.
Of special note is Bracon's tooth department which supplies not only many of the recognised top brands, but has its own exclusive range of teeth.
Bracon's commitment to quality is demonstrated by the achievement of the ISO9001:2000 Quality Assurance Standard. This affects all departments within the company and compliance with this standard is overseen by an in-house Quality Manager. Not only does this affect Bracon's own systems, but has a positive and far-reaching effect on its suppliers.
The provision of a good customer service has been a feature of Bracon's success over the past 30 years and it is due to the hands-on style of management which is an integral part of the company culture that the entire staff is committed to maintaining this reputation.
