This attractively designed wax dipping heater is an essential unit for any dental laboratory. It has an electronic control via the microprocessor to ensure that the set temperature entered by the user is precisely maintained. The working temperature range is from 50-97°C and the temperature inside the tank can be monitored in real time via an electronic display. On start-up, the control programs a ramp up to 80°C and holds that temperature for 10 minutes to ensure that the wax is completely melted to an even consistency. After this initial stage it goes to the set temperature, which is held until a new setting is entered by the user. Its size and sitting area are optimised to prevent overturning. The front of the tank is smooth so that wax spills during use can be cleaned up easily.
