Ceram-Etch PC is a ceramic etching gel containing 5% hydrofluoric acid for use in the dental lab. It is used to etch leucite ceramics such as Empress, Cerpress, and Avante. It also etches lithium disilicate ceramics such as 3G and E.Max press. Ceram-Etch PC can be used to etch Empress CAD and E.Max CAD and enhances bond strength by dissolving certain elements in the ceramic to create undercuts and voids in which the resin can flow. No neutraliser is required, just rinse the restoration with water and place in an ultrasonic cleaner. Green in colour.
