An off-white, hard display plaster.
Herculite No. 2 is a formulated hemihydrate plaster (CaSO4.1/2H2O) produced from naturally occurring high purity gypsum mineral. Produces hard casts with good
reproduction of fine detail. Shorter setting time adapted for production of smaller decorative casts.
Water to plaster ratio (by weight) 42%.
Initial setting time: 10 minutes.
Final setting time: 13 minutes.
Linear Expansion: 0.5%.
Brinell Hardness: 75MPa.
Dry compressive strength: 44MPa.
Wet Compressive strength: 24MPa.
